This year, Architecture for Humanity New York is focusing much of its work on the issues of housing within the five boroughs of New York City. From the topics of homelessness to the issues facing the middle class, the topic of housing touches the life of every citizen in this city. As such, AFHny is interested in hearing what housing-related topics, issues, and projects our volunteers would like to work on or are currently pursuing. Do you have an idea that could truly revolutionize the way we think of housing in this metropolis? Are you interested in helping forge a discussion on these vital issues?
If so, please join us for a roundtable brainstorming session, this Tuesday, 6 March 2007, from 7-8pm at the Center for Architecture. We need your help to create an exhaustive list of possible projects and topics that AFHny might collaborate on this year. Hope to see you there.
