[[http://www.shield.org/|The Shield Institute]] is a nonprofit organization that provides wide-ranging
services to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

AFHny volunteers are providing design assistance for the renovation of a patio, playground and recreation space at one of their oldest facilities, an elementary school and therapy center for children with developmental challenges that has been in operation in the Bronx for over 60 years.
